The Principal of Jackson College of Education, Mrs Theodosia Jackson, has underscored the priceless contribution of teachers in Ghana. She called on Ghanaians to deeply appreciate the impact of teachers in nation-building.
The Principal opined that there is every reason to celebrate the gallant teachers who, without doubt, serve as the key that opens doors to the world of knowledge.
Mrs Theodosia Jackson who is an astute educationist said teachers have, under various conditions – good or bad, fulfilled their obligations and had contributed to the knowledge that has led to the development not only in our schools but homes and communities at large.
She said that undoubtedly, these heroic women and men defy all odds and through their efforts and imagination, inspire students to blossom to become knowledgeable adults.
These students, she believes, become responsible adults and citizens who assume the mantle of leadership.
Jackson College of Education, Ghana’s Premier Private College of Education accredited to run Diploma in Basic Education by distance learning sees teachers as a bedrock for societal transformation.
Mrs Jackson indicated that the College will progressively train the needed manpower to dispense relevant academic knowledge to Pupils.
