The Deputy Minister of Education in charge of Basic & Secondary Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has paid a courtesy call on the Management of Jackson College of Education. The purpose of his visit was to encourage the Management of the College to maintain the enviable strides made in the area of teacher education in the country.
Dr Adutwum was impressed with the contribution the College had made so far.
He expressed his readiness to support the College to deliver on its mandate.
The Deputy Minister was welcomed by Prof. Ebenezer Asafua Jackson, Mrs Theodosia Jackson, Director and Principal of the College respectively and Mr Owusu Afriyie who is the Vice-principal (Academics).
They assured the Deputy Minister that the College will relentlessly pursue programs that will enhance quality education in the country regardless of the challenges that the College is confronted with.
