Jackson Educational Complex which operates Jackson College of Education has been recognized and awarded with the Europe Business Assembly’s Best Enterprise in the educational sphere acknowledging the excellence and quality with which JEC demonstrates and commitment of JEC to the education sector of the Country.
This prestigious recognition was accorded JEC at an awards ceremony organised by the Europe Business Assembly (EBA) as part of this year’s Excellence in Quality Conference held on 1st July, 2015 at Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, Montreux, Switzerland, under the framework of Oxford Summit of Leaders “Science and Education, Innovative Models of Development.”
The award means that, the educational services offered by JEC and for that matter, JCE meet “international standards and have consistently been of high quality, winning fame at the regional and national levels,” EBA stated. By this nomination, JCE has been included in the official register of leading enterprises and educational establishment by the European Business Assembly.
The award was received in Montreux by Prof. Ebenezer Jackson, Director of JEC and Mr. Daniel Jackson, Deputy Director of the Institution. The Director, Prof. Ebenezer Asafua Jackson was also awarded the “Manager of the Year” for his exemplary leadership of the college and was inducted into the Oxford Academic Union for his academic contributions over the years to education. The EBA noted, “in recognition of your professional work in the structure of your educational establishment in Ghana, as well as personal contribution to the development of the national education system and strengthening of the intellectual potential of the country.’’
