The Management of Jackson University College respectfully announces that, in honour of the directive issued by the Manhyia Palace regarding the closure of all schools, shops, and business establishments within Kumasi, the University will suspend all academic and administrative operations on Thursday, 18th September, 2025.

This observance is in solemn respect of the final funeral rites of the late Nana Konadu Yiadom III, Asantehemaa of Asanteman.

All offices of the University are required to remain closed for the entire day as a mark of respect for this significant traditional event.

Regular operations and official activities will fully resume on Friday, 19th September, 2025.

Management encourages all staff, students, and service providers to observe this day with dignity and join in paying tribute to the memory of the late Asantehemaa.
